New York, NY — The Greek Public Radio of New York – COSMOS FM and the GAEPIS Educational Organization, in collaboration with the Region of Crete, proudly present the renowned theatrical musical group ODIPOROS in the moving production “Ah, Xenitia”, a powerful tribute to the Greek immigration experience spanning from the early 1900s to today.
This emotional musical theater performance weaves together 33 beloved songs, authentic archival video footage, and compelling live narration, bringing to life the pain, resilience, longing, hope, and pride that have shaped generations of Greeks living abroad. Through music and storytelling, “Ah, Xenitia” honors the journey of those who left their homeland in search of new beginnings, while keeping the Greek language, identity, and traditions alive across the diaspora.
