The ever-growing interest of Poles in traveling to Greece with the emergence of new Greek destinations on the Polish market, such as Volos, Pelion, Kefallonia and the Peloponnese, was observed during the ITTF Warsaw International Travel & Tourism Fair 2025, which took place at the iconic Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw from 20 to 22 November 2025.

Greece is consistently among the top three most popular destinations in Poland, while, according to data from the country’s major tourist agencies, an increase of 8-10% is recorded in 2025 compared to the previous year.
Award for effective presence at the GNTO
The co-exhibitors at the national pavilion of the GNTO were the Regions of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, Central Macedonia, Thessaly, Central Greece, Peloponnese, Crete and North Aegean, the Halkidiki Tourist Organization, the Municipality of Volos, the ATRIUM hotel companies, as well as the airline SKY Express. The GNTO administration was represented by the General Manager, Sofia Lazaridou, while on behalf of the embassy, the ambassador, Niki Kampa, and the head of the ISD Office, Giorgos Michaelides, attended the exhibition.

In addition to the purely B2B part of its presence, for which the National Tourist Office was honored with an award for effective presence and popularity, the organization also won the interest of the audience with live Greek music and dance during the third day of the exhibition, which was dedicated exclusively to B2C.

The ITTF Warsaw Exhibition is recognized as the largest and most important event for the tourism industry in Poland, attracting industry professionals (B2B meetings, conferences, seminars) and visitors from both the country and abroad every year. At the same time, it is a leading networking platform for travel agents, tour operators, hotels, airlines, tourism organizations, technology companies, etc.
