Greek national broadcaster ERT has confirmed a total of 264 songs were submitted for the upcoming selection Ethnikós Telikós 2026.

After the closure of the song submission window, ERT have revealed 264 songs were submitted. One of these will represent Greece on the Vienna stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Following the success of the first edition, the national final has now expanded to three live shows. As many as 28 songs are set to compete to become the next Greek representative. An additional four songs will be retained on a reserve list. Each Semi-Final will see seven songs advance to a 14-song Grand Final. In the final a combination of public televoting (50%), Greek jury (25%) and international jury (25%), will decide the winner.
Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest
Out of 45 participations to date, Greece has won the Eurovision Song Contest once – in 2005 with Helena Paparizou’s ‘My Number One’. They have also finished in third place on three occasions (2001, 2004 and 2008).
Earlier this year, Klavdia brought Greece back to the top 10 in the Grand Final, placing in sixth with ‘Asteromata’.
