Thousands of Greek Australians turned out to warmly welcome Christina Salti, the popular Greek performer who electrified the crowd last Saturday at Oakleigh Glendi with her energy, stage presence and chart-topping hits.
The artist also gave a series of limited performances at Kinisi at Trak, leaving audiences with an unforgettable impression of her dynamic voice and charisma.
Salti is recognised as one of the most powerful and contemporary voices of the Greek music scene, known for her distinctive tone, interpretive sensitivity and seamless blend of traditional and modern styles. From the beginning of her career, she stood out for the emotion she conveys through her singing and her artistic consistency.

Her breakout moment came in 2010 through her collaboration with Mattyas on the hit single “Secret Love.” Her duets with BO, including “Kane Me Na Trelaθo” and “Ti Allo Theleis,” became major radio hits and won over fans across Greece and the diaspora.
Among her biggest successes is “Parallili Agapi” (Parallel Love) — a triple-platinum hit with millions of YouTube views, which made Salti the first female singer to secure a spot on Greece’s Official IFPI Airplay Chart in 2023.

Her more recent single “Siga” has already achieved gold status, following the success of “Parallili Agapi.” Other favourites include “Sou Zito Apopse Xari,” “Taxidi Magiko” (a Greek adaptation of an Albanian song featuring Elias Vrettos), and “Kano Parti.”
In 2023, Salti was awarded Best Cover Song at the Super FM Music Awards in Cyprus, and was also nominated at the MAD Video Music Awards in the Best Ballad category for “Parallili Agapi.”

A milestone in her career came when she appeared on a Times Square billboard in New York as part of Spotify’s global EQUAL campaign, representing Greece and Cyprus among 35 female artists from 50 countries. One of her songs was included in Spotify’s international EQUAL playlist promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
