What’s old is new again as Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church prepares to dedicate its Dameron Labyrinth at 2 p.m. November 16.

Next to the cemetery behind the church, the labyrinth has been given to Campbell by Andrew “Andy”  Nea in gratitude for the many loving years with his wife, Margaret “Margery” Woodson Nea, and for their long love for the Village of Weems, reported Jane Timms.

The labyrinth will be dedicated to her grandparents, Margaret Bolling Jones Dameron and James Oscar Dameron, early members of Campbell, and entrepreneurial pioneers in Weems.   

Ancient is the history of the labyrinth: from Greek mythology to the Middle Ages, when the concept of the labyrinth took on spiritual meaning….
