Ella Resorts, the hospitality brand of US-based global investment firm HIG Capital, has been honored at major international and Greek awards, marking an important milestone in its ongoing growth and success.
The group’s Elissa Lifestyle Beach Resort (Rhodes), Alkyna Lifestyle Beach Resort (Corfu), and Helea Lifestyle Beach Resort (Rhodes) received distinctions for excellence at the 19th World Luxury Hotel Awards and the Haute Grandeur 2025 Awards on the international stage, while in Greece they earned top honors at the Greek Hospitality Awards 2025.
A luxury lifestyle hospitality group, Ella currently operates eight sustainable “eco-chic” resorts across Rhodes, Corfu, Crete, and Attica. As part of its phased development and refurbishment plan, the group’s portfolio currently offers 3,000 rooms in Greece, with a goal to expand to 6,000 in the coming years.

Helea rounded out the group’s list of honors, receiving distinctions at the World Luxury Hotel Awards as Europe’s Luxury Family Beach Resort, Greece’s Luxury Family Resort, and Europe’s Luxury Beachfront Resort; at the Haute Grandeur 2025 Awards as Best All-Inclusive Family Hotel, World’s Best All-Inclusive Resort, Europe’s Best All-Inclusive Family Resort, and Greece’s Best Beachfront Hotel; and at the Greek Hospitality Awards as Greece’s Best Family Resort.

Following the properties’ distinctions, Panos Almyrantis, Chief Growth & Commercial Officer of Ella Resorts and President of the European Hotel Managers Association, was also honored at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2025 for his outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry, marking the first time the awards have presented a personal accolade to an individual professional.
A special highlight of the Greek Hospitality Awards was the recognition of “Breakfast Stories”, an initiative envisioned and curated by Chef Tsiotinis. The concept received the Silver Award for its creative and sustainable approach to celebrating the richness of the traditional Greek breakfast through locally inspired dishes.
