The deadline for submitting entries to ERT for the national final and Eurovision 2026 ends on November 2. With 11 days remaining, and as the deadline approaches, more and more interested artists and songwriters are expected to submit their songs, hoping first to be selected among up to 28 entries that will compete in the two semi-finals.
But how many songs have been submitted so far?
According to our exclusive information, around 70 songs have been submitted. This practically means that, if the pace continues at this rate—and keeping in mind that most entries usually arrive in the final days—the total number will likely not surpass last year’s figure of 187 submissions.
Each performer is allowed to submit only one entry, while each songwriter can sign up to three songs.
Many promising participants are currently preparing their entries, about which we’ll certainly have much more to say in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the submission process continues on ERT’s platform until Sunday, November 2.
The national final is expected to take place within the first two weeks of February, with Giorgos Kapoutzidis as the main host.
