Performer Klavdia, still riding high from her well-received appearance at last May’s Eurovision song competition as Greece’s representative, debuted on Times Square’s iconic electronic billboard this week.
The occasion marked another international distinction for Klavdia, who represents the country in Spotify’s Equal campaign.
The music platform selected the young Greek performer as an ambassador, promoting her single “Sintrimmia”, part of her successful debut album “Asteromata” (Arcade Music and Panik Records), which has already exceeded 55 million streams.
The Equal initiative aims to promote and empower women in the international music scene, according to Spotify. Among others, Klavdia graces the cover of the “Equal Greece” playlist, while her song has been included in the global “Equal Global” list, alongside artists from more than 40 countries.
