Cypriot broadcaster RIK will internally select its Eurovision 2026 artist.
The national broadcaster has approached leading music labels in Greece and Cyprus to suggest potential artists. In the first phase, the selection focuses on the artists, not the songs.
As part of the “Pame Parea” show on Omega Channel, and based on the EurovisionFun reports, we learn that currently there are 8 potential artists to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2026:
#1. Evangelia
The Greek-American singer has tried her luck several times, aiming to represent Greece, including a 2nd-place finish in last year’s national selection, “Ethnikós Telikós 2025”.
#2. Good Job Nicky
Good Job Nicky (real name: Nikolas Varthakouris) is a 29-year-old Greek singer-songwriter.
The singer tried to represent Greece in the internal selection in 2023.
#3. Josephine
The singer is well-known in the Eurovision fandom due to her interest in the Eurovision Song Contest.
She was born in Greece to parents of Lebanese and German descent.
In 2014, she participated in the Greek national final and ended 4th.
In 2021, she released a Greek cover of “Mata Hari” (Azerbaijan‘s entry for Eurovision 2021)
#4.Katerina Stikoudi
Katerina Stikoudi is a 40-year-old Greek singer, model, and actress.
So far, she has played in dozens of films and TV shows and has released 6 albums.
#5. Mikay
Mikay is a well-known influencer and singer.
She rose to fame due to the multiple covers she released.
Mikay also performs K-pop music.
#6. Antigoni
Antigoni is a Cypriot singer based in London.
Recently, she has accompanied Marina Sati (Eurovision 2024) on her tour.
#7. Nina Mazani
Nina Mazani released her first album, “Fos”, in 2024.
#8. George Perris
George Perris is a 42-year-old Greek-French singer who performs in multiple languages: English, Greek, French, and Spanish.
He comes from a classical music background (like jazz), but also performs pop music.
So far, he has released 10 studio albums
