More than 400 dancers and groups are expected to participate in the International Zeibekiko and Greek Dance Festival “Cyprus Zorba Dance Festival” which will take place from 26 to 29 September, on the Larnaca seafront.
The three-day programme includes thematic seminars on Greek dances by dance teachers, allowing participants to socialise with other dancers from Greece and abroad. The festival will also allow the audience to experience unique moments by watching five live music and dance performances at the Central Stage of Finikoudes and the historic Castle of Larnaca, Street Dancing by 20 dance groups along the entire coastal front, three themed entertainment nights and the “Cyprus Zorba Dance Championship” with dance teachers from abroad as judges.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on Friday, September 26th at 8.30 pm at the Central Stage of the Finikoudes. It will be followed by a music and dance performance, open to the public, with the participation of more than 400 dancers from Cyprus and abroad.
