The lights, music, and aromas of authentic Greek cooking filled the air Friday evening as the St. Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Shrine Church kicked off its beloved annual Greek Festival.
Families and friends packed the grounds at 1 Shrine Place, where the weekend-long tradition is once again offering everything from fresh seafood and homemade pastries to Greek dancing, carnival rides, and live music.
Lines stretched for souvlaki, gyros, and trays of baklava. Children darted between the rides and games, while adults lingered under the tents with cold beer, wine, and Greek coffee.
The festival continues all weekend:
- Saturday: 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
- Sunday: 12–8 p.m.
