- Craig Robinson is performing at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak through August 23. He is best known for his portrayal of Daryl Philban in NBC’s “The Office.”
- A Taste of Greece Festival takes place through August 24 at Nativity of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Plymouth, featuring traditional Greek dancing, live music and a marketplace.
- The Dragon on the Lake Festival returns to downtown Lake Orion through August 24 with dragon boat races, an art fair and a tiki tent.
- The Novi Taco Fest comes to Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk August 22-24 and includes 30+ taco trucks, live Latin music and a hot pepper eating contest.
- The Plymouth UnFair takes place at 41551 E. Ann Arbor Trail in Plymouth on August 23, featuring poets, performers and activities.
- The Michigan Made Festival returns to Canterbury Village in Lake Orion August 23-24, showcasing crafters with Michigan made items, Michigan beers and various food options.
- Sounds from the Park by Marcus Elliot is coming to the Palmer Park Bandshell in Detroit on August 23 from 2-4 p.m.. The performances honor Detroit’s parks and their communities.
- SummerFest wraps up its summer concert series at The War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms featuring a Motown-inspired performance by Drey Skonie & the Klouds on August 27. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
