Exclusive: Former Studiocanal and Kaleidoscope exec Lucy Savage has teamed with Cey Sesiguzel and Andreas Tokkallos to launch a new film distribution outfit called Two Fresh Distribution.
The company will focus on films from and about the Mediterranean. They’ve set their first title, Stelios, and will launch the film at the upcoming European Film Market.
Directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and produced by Tanweer Productions, the film tells the story of Greek music legend and singer Stelios Kazantzidis, the lead singer of the band Melisses. Christos Mastoras is in the lead role. The film passed 800,000 admissions in Greece in January. The UK release date is set for April 25th.
