Pro-Palestinian Messages at Marina Satti’s Concert in Athens – Eurovision News | Music

On the evening of Wednesday, June 25th, Marina Satti held her concert at Plateia Nerou in Athens, where over 15,000 fans gathered. Once again, Marina Satti expressed her support for Palestine, and several Palestinian flags were seen among the crowd.

The performance was part of her “POP TOUR”, and featured guest appearances by Saske, OGE, Negro tou Moria, and Rack. Satti delivered a show that blended zurna and daouli, bagpipe, and reggaeton, unveiling a new chapter in her musical journey with her album POP TOO.

Naturally, among her hit songs, Marina also performed ZARI, the song with which she placed 11th in Eurovision 2024.

Satti often expresses her political concerns through her performances and music, and last night’s concert was no exception. Messages in support of Gaza were displayed in the background of the stage, referencing the ongoing conflict with Israel. As mentioned, some attendees held Palestinian flags as a show of solidarity.

This was Marina Satti’s only concert in Athens for the summer. On Wednesday, July 2nd, she will give another major performance in Thessaloniki, at the Apollon Kalamarias Stadium.
