Henry the eighth was a ignorant asshole and what he did to Catherine is horrible she didn't deserve what she was just out a lot of people on these shows were sayin that witchcraft was involved which it could have been but what I find interesting about it all is that he would take something from what his grandmother on his Mother's side and his mother and take it with a Greatest assault After she told him not to marry Catherine had she not married Catherine maybe Catherine would have had a more full happier life instead he did the craziest shit because he was the king of England…. His father Henry VII was broke and the coffers were empty this guy goes and Mary's orthodox to Catherine of Aragon and Castiles and for whatever reason thinks that they're gonna bring the mighty wealth of Spain and her father renegs on her dowry LOL! And then when Henry finally becomes king he marries Catherine against his family's wishes and his crazy insane grandmother Margaret Beaufort, Was brutal as hell! She murdered or I think it was her they say that she had somebody else killed the boys in the tower I think it was her alone she was that ruthless to get Henry On the throne and she was willing to make whatever happen to see him live out his destiny that she claims was his which in fact they already had made it a big thing that Henry was never to take The Crown! Without getting into that too much they tell the story about Margaret and his uncle Jasper and she was going on and on about how Catherine veragon could never marry Henry because she first married Arthur and she knows for a fact that the marriage was consummated so it was considered incest for him to marry his brother's bride that was short-lived they weren't even together fore the sweating sickness took him away LOL but she was willing to up and marry Jasper until Jasper figures out later on that she was the one who ordered the boys of the tower to be murdered she's the 1 who created the whole curse on her own family and then tried to blame it on somebody who had absolutely nothing to do with the whole Curse and claim that his Lord will die with him no boys! Well I guess Mary and Catherine showed them LOL! Because Mary eventually took The Crown and as in Spain queens were very important not just the king. I think it was really unfair for them to paint Elizabeth in a bad view because of her Mother being beheaded because Henry was pissed at her for having a girl so he went and trumped up this idea that she was banging her brother LOL! I don't believe that she would have done that because she wanted Henry. She wanted him so much that she was crazy as fuck when he decided to take And sister Mary as a concubine to see if she was fertile and he wound up having another illegitimate son. So that's 2 illegitimate sons for Henry so far because of Bessie Blount and Mary Bolin who wound up having Henry's boys… Never to be fit to take the Crown because they were considered illegitimate. He was quite a brutal king! He came up with a lot of fucked up ideas to change the rules to suit his sadistic desires! I don't think that they were rightful Monarchs to be honest the only thing that made them legitimate was the fact that Elizabeth was their mowhen it came to Henry because if it wasn't for Elizabeth taking the Crown like her father was intending her brother to take the Crown she was too brutal as she was because she snuffed out her own brother so she could keep her position as Queen! And she knew like they depicted on STARZ I feel like they made a really good idea of in painting a picture with how things were back in those days like I'm sure a lot of it is changed around but for the main story line from what I've read about and what I've sort of researched over time a lot of it seems to be Legit and that there was a lot of historic truths
