Greece to Skip Junior Eurovision 2025, Continuing Absence –

The Greek broadcaster ERT last competed in 2008 with Niki Giannoutsou’s “Kapia Nyhta” but has since stayed away, primarily due to low public interest.

The 23rd Junior Eurovision is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the Small Hall of the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia, following Georgia’s 2024 win with Andria Putkaradze’s “To My Mom.” This marks Georgia’s second time hosting, after 2017.

Despite growing interest from other countries boosting the contest’s popularity, ERT shows no strong intent to return.
