Brooklyn Greek Festival Starts Monday, June 2


Beginning this Monday, June 2, and lasting through Sunday, June 8, the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 64 Schermerhorn Street (between Court Street and Boerum Place), will host The Brooklyn Greek Festival. There will be plenty of tradtional Greek food: there’s a list of what’s available with prices here. The festival will be open Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm, Thursday 11:00 am until 10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday 11:00 am until 11:00 pm, and Sunday noon until 8:00 pm. There will be live music Thursday from 6:00 until 10:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm; there will be DJ music Friday and Saturday 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Thursday will feature “Brooklyn Bouzouki” with dancing along with live music.
