Greek hospitality is the best also, i am asian, raised in a greek neighborhood. I know how to get invites to any greek bbq. You just look at someone smoking a cigarette straight in the eyes and ask him "what are you cooking it smells amazing since 2 blocks away" and he's gonna tell you to come on 😂
Make them laugh in their restaurant, the next thing you order will most likely be free and something off menu too

Greek food is good. But don't say it's better than Italian cuisine. Pasta is an appetizer for us our cuisine is huge king too long to list I stop only at cheeses in Italy we have 450 different types of cheeses from not to tell shit there were hundreds of countries to compete

Greek here lived in italy for almost ten years and i can say that italian food is way better except a couple of dishes or so
I am from Greece, and lets be honest, saying that Italian cuisine is only pasta and pizza is like saying that Greek cuisine is only souvlaki and gyros. What are you talking about dude, have you ever been to Italy? The dishes you can try there are endless, and they are always based on fresh ingredients too. Plus Italians take food much more seriously that Greeks do, most of the Greek chefs copy techniques and recipes from Italian, French, and Spanish chefs. Greece cannot be compared with these giants when it comes to food and cooking. Greek cuisine might be healthy but it certainly is not light, the ingredients are swimming in olive oil, plus Greeks use a lot of milk cream in cooking, and they also fry a lot, most of the appetisers you get in a taverna are fried . And the meat, most of Greeks are ignorant and like it well done, even if they are eating angus stake! Apart from Italy i suggest you also visit Spain, another foodie paradise… with hundreds of amazing dishes to try.
