Klavdia, Greece’s representative at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, secured an impressive 6th place with her hit “Asteromata,” marking the country’s best result since Koza Mostra and Agathonas Iakovidis’ “Alcohol is Free” in 2013.
On Thursday, May 22, ERT, Greece’s public broadcaster, celebrated Klavdia’s achievement and the work of creative director Fokas Evangelinos during an award ceremony at Radio Megaron in Athens.
ERT’s Chairman, Yiannis Papadopoulos, and CEO, Konstantinos Papavassiliou, presented awards to Klavdia and Evangelinos and praised their contributions. Papadopoulos remarked, “Your outstanding performance reflects ERT’s vision for Eurovision, making this a milestone for Greece.”
Key members of the Greek delegation attended the ceremony, including Arcade, who co-wrote “Asteromata” with Klavdia, Deux Hommes, the designers of Klavdia’s striking outfit, and commentators Giorgos Kapoutzidis and Maria Kozakou.
