“For me, 6th place is truly a victory,” Klavdia stated, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from Greeks everywhere. “It really feels like a win. As I said yesterday, I was dreaming of 5th place, and we came so close. We’re in 6th, and I’m thrilled about it. But I also feel like a winner because of the incredible love and support I received,” she added.
“I’m overjoyed, and I’m so happy to see you all happy too. It was unbelievable! We couldn’t believe what we were experiencing,” Klavdia shared, noting that while the process was initially stressful, “we were so thrilled with the outcome that no matter what happened, I think we’d still be just as happy.”
Klavdia extended heartfelt thanks to ERT, Panik, her team, dancers, and everyone involved. She also reflected on the significance of the Day of Remembrance for the Pontic Greek Genocide, which coincided with her return. “I don’t know how things aligned this way. Tomorrow is a heavy day for all of us, for Pontic Greeks,” she said.
