The Athens Epidaurus Festival, Greece’s premier cultural institution, marks its 70th anniversary by making a triumphant return to the historic Lycabettus Hill Theatre with four extraordinary summer concerts, promising unforgettable nights of music and celebration under the stars.
In collaboration with the Municipality of Athens and Technopolis, the Epidaurus Festival revives this iconic venue—an open-air gem in the heart of the city—with a dynamic, multigenre programme tailored to captivate both seasoned fans and a new generation of music lovers.
A New Chapter on a Historic Stage
From May 28 to June 1, Lycabettus Hill will come alive with performances by major Greek and international artists, spanning nu jazz, Afro-Greek hip-hop, avant-garde pop, and experimental electronica. These four unique nights aim to both honour the festival’s storied past and push the boundaries of contemporary music.

📅 May 28 – Greek Nu Jazz Meets the African Diaspora
Curated by MC Yinka, this explosive evening brings together voices from the African-Greek community in a powerful fusion of hip-hop, nu jazz, and cultural storytelling. Artists include:
Jerome Kaluta, Idra Kayne, Ladele, Urban Lynx (MC Yinka & MC Dash) — all promising a high-energy showcase of Afro-Greek creativity.
📅 May 29 – Spiritualized (UK)
British alt-rock legends Spiritualized take over the stage with their symphonic wall of sound and the ethereal vocals of J. Spaceman. Expect a transcendent sonic journey, where psychedelia meets spiritual exploration—one of the summer’s most anticipated live experiences.
📅 May 31 – Arca (Venezuela) + Evita Mantzi (GR)
In a landmark moment for Greece’s electronic music scene, Arca, the globally acclaimed genre-defying artist, performs live for the first time in the country. Her performance, blending hyperreal soundscapes, experimental visuals, and raw emotion, will be preceded by Evita Mantzi, a rising voice in electronic music.
📅 June 1 – Nalyssa Green & Guests: “Very Good at Parties”
Closing the series is an exhilarating musical variety show hosted by Nalyssa Green, joined by an eclectic ensemble of musicians, drag performers, and comedians. The night will feature performances by:
Miss Trichrome, Dimitra Nikitea, Skiadares, Chraja, Dolly Vara Kristof, Logout, Papithedogtv, Penny, The Boy, Tsolimon, Vassilina, co-presented by Nalyssa Green and Kristof.
