The Greek America Foundation has launched its highly anticipated charity auction in conjunction with the 2025 Gabby Awards, offering a curated selection of rare collectibles, fine art, and luxury fashion— all available for online bidding from anywhere in the world that will culminate on the evening of June 7, 2025 at the gala.
This event and the silent auction, supports the Foundation’s philanthropic mission, including initiatives like Project Hope for Greece, which aids vulnerable children.

Rare Hermès Scarves Lead the Auction
Among the standout items are two exceptionally rare Hermès silk scarves from the 1985–86 collection, titled “1821 – Hommage à l’Amitié Franco-Hellénique.” Designed by Julia Abadie to commemorate the Greek War of Independence, only 500 of each color variant were produced, making them highly sought-after by collectors worldwide.
The rare collectible scarves, donated from the estate of a long-time supporter of the foundation who was a collector of Hermes scarves. These specific Greek Revolution-themed collectibles have gone for upwards of $5000 in auctions.

Longtime supporters of the foundation like Costa Navarino and the Grande Bretagne Hotel have donated generous accommodation packages valued at thousands, while artists including Theodora Miller, Alexandra Manousakis and Phillip Tsiaras have donated unique, original art.
Greek artist Apostolos Chantzaras, who will be a special guest at the event, has donated one of his originals entitled “Hero and Dragon.” Similar pieces of this artist have sold at auctions at upwards of $8,000.
Another longtime supporter, Lefteris Ioannou, proprietor of Phelo Wines & Spirits with shops in Mykonos and Athens, donated an ultra-rare bottle of Clase Azul Tequila, which has been sold for over $2000.
