Greece’s Eurovision 2025 team arrives in Basel

Greece’s Eurovision delegation has touched down in Basel for this year’s edition of the song contest with great feelings of positivity and optimism as they prepare to deliver a stellar performance.

Klavdia, who will sing for Greece at the event, arrived at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport together with Fokas Evangelinos (creative director of the Greek team) and the rest of the team ahead of travelling to Basel.

The singer, who was proudly holding the Greek flag, spoke with journalists and the people there to wish them well ahead of their participation in the contest.

The team landed in Basel on Sunday afternoon with their first technical rehearsal held on Monday and the second to take place Thursday (8 May)

Greece, which will see Klavdia perform the song “Asteromatas”, will appear in seventh place in the Eurovision 2025 Second Semi-Final on 15 May as they seek to earn a ticket to the Grand Final (which is made exclusively by public vote).

The public vote is limited to viewers from the 16 countries competing in the second semi-final, from France, Germany and the United Kingdom (i.e. three of the so-called “Big 5” countries that qualify directly to the final) and from countries not participating in the competition.
