Despite the decline in consumer confidence in key markets for Greek tourism, Europeans’ willingness to travel to Greece remains strong.
This is evidenced by the current scheduling of air seats for flights to Greece during this year’s summer season, which covers the period from the last Sunday in March to the last Saturday in October.
As they say in the market, “when airlines add extra seats, it means that they consider it possible to fill them.”
Therefore, the 2025 summer season opens with 28.2 million scheduled airline seats on international flights to Greece, which translates into an increase of 4.6% compared to 2024.
