Olympiacos FC is set to celebrate a century of success and history with a series of impressive events to mark its 100th anniversary.
The club announced the activities planned for the monumental occasion, which will begin on Saturday, March 8th, and culminate on Tuesday, March 10th. These events will showcase the deep-rooted legacy of the club while honoring its passionate fanbase.
Kostas Karapapas, Vice President of Olympiacos, presented the exciting line-up of celebrations, which include a striking theme park set up outside the iconic Karaiskakis Stadium. The park will be beautifully illuminated for the entire duration of the festivities, along with the nearby Municipal Theatre, both bathed in the vibrant red and white colours of the Piraeus club.
One of the highlights of the celebration is a collaborative documentary with a renowned British production company, chronicling the club’s remarkable 100-year history. Additionally, on Monday, March 9th, a breathtaking drone show will light up the skies over the port of Piraeus at 19:25, visible to fans across Athens and the surrounding areas.
“This celebration is for the Olympiacos fans,” said Karapapas. “What Mr. Marinakis has asked of us is simple: to make sure that everything we do for this 100th anniversary is done with the fans in mind. I believe we are on track to achieve this to the greatest extent possible.”
The celebrations will be a fitting tribute to Olympiacos’ legendary status, with a look toward the future, including the unveiling of an ultra-modern museum dedicated to the club’s illustrious past. As the club marks this historic milestone, it continues to strengthen its bond with fans around the world, paying homage to a century of triumphs in Greek football and beyond.
