Jönköping is welcoming you all tonight both to the Fifth Heat and the Final Qualification Round of Melodifestivalen 2025! Live from Husqvarna Garden arena, Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom will host the show once again.
ΗΕΑΤ 5 – The acts
Six acts will compete in tonight’s Heat. The top two songs, in terms of points, will qualify directly to the grand final of the show. The third-placing song will proceed to a final qualification round at the end of the fifth heat, having a second chance to fight for the final. In running order, the six acts competing tonight are:

Returning artists
The fifth Heat has two returning artists! Arvingarna and SCARLET have entered the show before.
Arvingarna have won Melodifestivalen 1993 with the song Eloise and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, where they finished in seventh place. After their successful debut, Arvingarna have returned to Melodifestivalen with “Bo Diddley” (1995), “Det svar jag på” (1999), ” Ingenting är større än vi” (2002), “I Do” (2019) and “Tänker inte alls gå hem” (2021). The 1995 and 2002 entries have been eliminated from the Final of the show, though the rest of the songs managed to qualify to the Final! In 1999 the song finished in 3rd place, in 2019 the song finished in 7th place and in 2021 the song finished in 9th place!
SCARLET debuted Melodifestivalen last year (2024) with the song “Circus X”. The entry managed to qualify to the Final Qualification Round but it was eliminated from the Final.
Final Qualification Round
The final qualification round, formelly known as “Second Chance” round, will give the chance to two more acts to qualify to the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2025.
Five acts in total will compete at the final qualification round. These acts are each Heat’s third-placing songs. So far the four acts of the third-placing song are:
- Hush Hush – Meira Omar – from Heat 1
- Salute – Kaliffa – from Heat 2
- YIHAA – Dolly Style – from Heat 3
- Bara du är där – Ella Tiritiello – from Heat 4
During tonight’s Heat 5 we will get to know the fifth and the final act to compete at the final qualification round.
