KLAVDIA has won the Greek National Final. The Greek selection was completed and the song Asteromata will travel to Basel in May. ERT brought in life a high quality national final that all Greek fans wanted and asked for many years.
The show began with Helena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas, the hosts of the show, performing three legendary Eurovision entries: “Waterloo” by ABBA, “Hold me now” by Johnny Logan and the very first Greek entry in the contest, “Krasi, thalassa kai to agori mou” orininally performed by Marinella.
The show featured a flashback of the Greek entries in the contest so far through a recap video. As for the last (so far) entry “Zari”, Marina Satti appeared on stage performing a remixed version of it.
In running order, the 12 competing songs of the Greek national final were:

- Gi mou – Kostas Ageris
- Lost my way – Andy Nicolas
- Asteromata – Klavdia
- Paradeisos – Kostas Karafotis & Constantinos Christoforou
- High road – Georgina Kalais & John Vlaseros
- Sirens – BARBZ
- Vale – Evangelia
- Odyssey – Dinamiss
- Unhurt me – Nafsica
- Play it! – Xannova Xan
Greek superstar Sakis Rouvas during the interval act performed his Eurovision entries “This is our night” and “Shake it” while Helena Paparizou sang “Die for you” and “My Number One”, her own Eurovision entries back in 2001 and 2005.
The representative of Cyprus, Theo Evan, was present at the Greek final and performed “Fuego”. The entry by Eleni Foureira which brought the best place to Cyprus at Eurovision.
At the end of the evening, the ranking order of the 12 entries was announced, which you can see in the tab below. The detailed televote and jury scores will be known at a later date.
