Klavdia Is A Favourite To Win Greece’s Ethnikós Telikós 2025

On Thursday, 30 January, at 21:00 EET (20:000 CET), the big night of Ethnikós Telikós 2025 will take place at the Christmas Theatre, where the song that will represent Greece in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen.

With all the songs out in the open, we asked you to choose your favourite from the 12 competing acts.

You let your voices be heard, submitting 2,525 votes. After tallying up the results, we have a winner…

Klavdia is a favourite to win Ethnikós Telikós 2025

Based on the wiwi poll, it looks like Klavdia could take a commanding lead in the national selection. She won with a resounding 49.35% of the vote — that’s nearly half of us saying “Αστερομάτα” is the Greek anthem, or miroloi, we’ve been waiting for.

Evangelia’s “Vále” follows with a solid 23.8%. This tells us she definitely has a fanbase, though she’ll need a few more choruses to catch up to Klavdia’s star power.

Barbz’s “Sirens” (8.63%) is sounding more like a warning that something big might be coming, but it’s a little distant in the rearview. Meanwhile, Dinamiss (6.38%) and Xannova Xan (4.44%) are keeping the competition interesting, but not quite hitting the same high notes as the top contenders.

At the bottom of the chart, we’ve got a few hopefuls like Andy Nicolas and Nafsika, who are more like the underdog stories that no one can predict.

Poll results: Who should win Ethnikós Telikós 2025 in Greece?

  1. Klavdia – “Αστερομάτα” – 49.35%  (1,246 votes)
  2. Evangelia – “Vále” – 23.8%  (601 votes)
  3. Barbz – “Sirens” – 8.63%  (218 votes)
  4. Dinamiss (Ελένη και Μαρια Ντίνα) – “Odyssey” – 6.38%  (161 votes)
  5. Xannova Xan (Κάλλη Γεωργέλλη) – “Play It” – 4.44%  (112 votes)
  6. Κωνσταντίνος Χριστοφόρου feat Κώστας Καραφώτης – “Παράδεισος” – 2.46%  (62 votes)
  7. Κώστας Αγέρης – “Γη Μου” – 1.58%  (40 votes)
  8. Andy Nicolas – “Lost my Way” – 1.11%  (28 votes)
  9. Nafsika – “Unhurt me” – 0.87%  (22 votes)
  10. RIKKI – “Elevator (Up and Down)” – 0.59%  (15 votes)
  11. Θάνος Λάμπρου – “Free Love” – 0.4%  (10 votes)
  12. Georgina Kalais feat Γιάννης Βλασσερός – “High Road” – 0.39%  (10 votes)

All in all, it’s clear that Klavdia’s “Αστερομάτα” has the momentum to snatch victory, but honestly in Eurovision anything could happen. Let’s see if the others can climb the ladder — or if they’ll just be stuck in the elevator with RIKKI.

The presenters for the Greek national final will be Sakis Rouvas (Eurovision 2004 & 2009) and Helena Paparizou (Eurovision 2005). Meanwhile, the artistic direction of the event being handled by the one and only Eurovision staging expert, Fokas Evaggelinos.

The last time Greece held a national selection open to the public was back in 2016. Argo won with their song “Utopian Land,” which, unfortunately, didn’t quite make it to the Eurovision grand final (guess they couldn’t find the Utopian magic). But hey, here’s hoping this year the Greek audience will choose wisely — after all, Greece is usually a safe bet for making it to the final. Fingers crossed for a more qualifying selection this time around!
