The evil eye is stuck above Serbia and its national song contest Pesma Za Evroviziju (PZE), as moments ago, Milan Nikolić announced his withdrawal from the serbian music festival!
The Serbian artist was set to compete in PZE 2025 with his band “Milan Nikolić i banda” and the song “Storia del amor”. According to his Instagram story, he decided not to participate due to enigmatic “new circumstances”, while he also announced his resignation from his position as editor at PGP RTS.
PGP RTS is a Serbian music label established in 1997 and based in Belgrade. It is the successor of the PGP RTB label and serves as the music production branch of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS). The label is responsible for the release and production of music albums and recordings associated with RTS, playing a key role in promoting the Serbian music scene and providing a platform for local artists.
“I am addressing you as a musician and editor of PGP RTS. Unfortunately, due to new conditions and circumstances that I will not disclose, I have withdrawn from PZE 2025 and resigned from the position of editor at PGP RTS.”

We remind tou that this is the third elimination in Serbia, after Buč Kesidi and Dram.

So far, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) has not issued an official statement regarding Milan Nikolić’s withdrawal, so we have no clue whether a replacement nominee will be announced.
