Speaking on the show “MEGA Good Morning,” Josephine shared, “I’m living my dream, thank God everything is going very well. I have a strong belief in God, and I was baptized about five years ago. My parents allowed me to choose my own religion, and that greatly helped me. After my baptism, my first song became a hit. I asked my grandmother, Irene, to baptize me, and she’s also my godmother. I was baptized in a traditional ceremony in a baptismal font. It was just three of us in the church: me, my grandmother, and my sister. I needed to be baptized to feel God’s blessing. Since then, everything has been going positively for me.”

Regarding her relationship with her mother, who is also a singer, Josephine commented, “My mother was a singer and sang everything. When I told her I wanted to become a singer too, she said, ‘Stay away, I don’t want you involved in this.’ From a young age, I watched my mom on stage, and once I got up there with her. She didn’t like it and scolded me. My mom is a very strict critic. She’s happy for me because she feels like I’m pursuing the career she couldn’t. I still remember when she had her first hit, I was 9 years old.”

Josephine added, “My mother approves of my relationship with Nino.”

Discussing her relationship with fellow singer Nino and their daily life as a couple, she remarked, “I really like it when Nino wears glasses since he’s nearsighted. At home, we’re simple; neither of us makes much of an effort with appearances.”

Finally, Josephine explained, “For me, the most important thing in a relationship is honesty and having a clear understanding; that’s where I say ‘forever.’ I don’t like jealousy at all. I neither show if I’m jealous nor give any reason for jealousy. I’m independent and don’t entertain pettiness; I assert, ‘I am Josephine.'”
