Gogglebox pair share sad news of death with fans


Former Gogglebox stars Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig have taken to Instagram to announce the sad death of their poodle. The couple who used to be regulars on the Channel 4 show posted on social media to make fans aware of the sad update.

They wrote: “Today we said goodbye to the kindest little girl, our princess RIP.”

They shared pictures of their beloved dog with the simple message ‘RIP’.

Fans sent messages of love and support with one writing: “Sending love to you all”, while another added: “Sending you the biggest love the paw print they leave on our hearts stay forever xx”

One added: “‘I know what it feels like , they are our fur babies” and another typed: “Omg I’m so sorry. sending lots of love xxx”

Stephen and Daniel eft Gogglebox and got divorced in April after a six year marriage. They continue to run their salon together.

Gogglebox airs on Channel 4 and showcases everyday people watching and reacting to the week’s TV shows and news. Participants are filmed in their homes, providing commentary, humour, and insight on various programs.

Stephen Webb ws one of the original cast members of Gogglebox, having been part of the show since it began in 2013. He initially appeared with his then-partner, Chris Ashby-Steed, and later with his mother and other family members after his split from Chris. In more recent seasons, Stephen appeared alongside his husband, Daniel Lustig-Webb.

Daniel joined the show in 2019, and the couple quickly became fan favourites due to their humour, banter, and chemistry. Stephen and Daniel are both hairdressers.
