Once more, Dubai is going to set another record, by opening the world’s biggest beach club. Opening in December 2024, Sirene by GAIA will be a 9000 sqm site, welcoming guests and tourists.
Inspired by Greek mythology, the club embodies ancient tradition in its look. One of the characters that heavily impacted the appearance of the site are Sirens, which are seen as a symbol of beauty and music. The club has a restaurant capacity of 400 people and a beach front with a swimming pool hosting 300 sunbeds and cabanas. J1 Beach, formerly known as La Mer, will provide unique guest services and beach access.
Nestled in the J1 Beach in Jumeirah, it is expected to transform Dubai as it will offer 13 international concepts to satisfy every foodie’s craving. “Serene is a place that we wanted to create for our guests to enjoy their day as if they were on holiday, even if it’s just for a few hours. Living in the middle of life’s fast-paced environment, we all need moments of escape, a space where time slows down, and transport you to another reality, a place where you can relax and recharge,” said Chef Izu Ani.
Among the choices is Italian Gigi Rigolatto, which is already open. It offers a curated menu, a garden, Circus Kids Club, and a private pool.
Another highlight is African Queen which promises to bring a combination of African and French flavours to its visitors. Chef Thierry Paludetto will be serving signature dishes such as Salade Nicoise and Filet au Poivre, crafted to bring a one-of-a-kind experience.
Already welcoming guests, Almayass by the Sea offers visitors a new tastebuds experience bringing Lebanese and Armenian cuisine to Dubai. Guests can enjoy plates of grilled meats, fresh salads, and a variety of spices.
Opening in November, Baoli will treat visitors to a teste of Asia with contemporary Japanese dishes. During the day, it will be a hotspot for mocktails and sunbathing, while at night it will transform into a club-like venue with a DJ.
Chouchou is another French inspired restaurant. Club members can enjoy a beach and pool lounge, living room, rooftop terrace, and a signature Rose pool, while the restaurant is open to the public.
Opened since 1 November, Gitano captures the rich Mexican culture and blends dining with dancing. Visitors can enjoy signature mezcal cocktails paired with a contemporary Mexican menu in a lively atmosphere.
Kaimana, which means “spirit of the ocean” in Polynesian culture, will serve a blend of Asian and Polynesian dishes in a greenery setting with an immersive beachfront ambiance.
Sakhalin will bring the Michelin-star experience to the club, offering a combination of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. Known for his inventive and surprising dishes, chef Vladimir Mukhin “has meticulously crafted an elevated menu that showcases an artful blend of diverse culinary traditions, ensuring a sophisticated dining experience that is both exceptional and memorable”, the restaurant promises.
Set to open by the end of 2024, Ninive Beach invites visitors to immerse themselves in the ancient world of Mesopotamian culture, with a menu that takes guests on a journey through history and tradition.
Set to open in November/December this year, Lunico is the spot for guests who want to blend night life with beach vibes. This restaurant transforms into a night bar, providing a chic and intimate atmosphere.
La Baia is set to open in December with a menu inspired by south Italian flavours, bringing the character of the Amalfi coast and its charming seaside towns to Dubai.
Lastly, another soon to be open place is INA. This means “fire” in Nigerian Yoruba. The venue is going to be open only for dinner, inviting everyone to an African-inspired space with open-fire cooking.
