The Greek Orthodox Parish of Saint Nektarios in Fawkner – in the Archdiocesan District of Northcote – hosted the ‘Greek Fest Fawkner’ on Sunday.
The event was filled with Greek music, traditional food, and dancing, capturing the spirit of the community’s celebration of Saint Nektarios.
The festival marked Saint Nektarios’ feast day, officially observed on 9 November.
Held at the parish in Melbourne’s Fawkner, the festivities attracted a large crowd and included a variety of entertainment.
Highlights included live music from a DJ, traditional Greek dancing, and stalls with an array of Greek delicacies.
Children enjoyed activities such as a bouncy castle and a petting zoo, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere.
