Soussis’s nephews, Zina and Raphael, shared a moving tribute on his Facebook page, describing him as a man of “inspiration and passion for life.” They celebrated his “lyrics, poems, books, and humor” which they said will continue to inspire. They painted a picture of a man with a “strong personality” and “restless spirit,” who fearlessly expressed his views and never abandoned his pen. Their message concluded with a poignant sentiment: “We will be here, searching for him somewhere in the South.”
