Holy Apostles Greek Festival Offers Food, Music and Raffles Nov. 8-9


As part of its mission, WHAV provides information and resources targeting health and wellness, food insecurity, after-school programs, education and housing to residents of Greater Haverhill and the Merrimack Valley. Holy Apostles Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church Greek Festival next week features homemade Greek food, pastries, live music and raffles.

The Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9, event includes traditional Greek dishes, a variety of desserts and access to the Bakaliko Greek Market for festival-goers to browse and purchase Greek products.

On Saturday night, the festival hosts live music by Fotia.live from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Raffles will be available throughout the event. The Festival Raffle offers prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $500 with tickets priced at $5 each or five for $20. The Basket Raffle offers 25 tickets for $20, allowing participants to select the baskets they wish to enter.

The festival takes place Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9, at Holy Apostles Church, 165 Winter St.
