One of the most famous American punk rock bands will come to Greece for the first time next summer.
Green Day will perform a massive concert on July 6 at OAKA in Athens as part of the Eject Festival, which will celebrate twenty years of its dynamic presence in domestic concert events.
The band has sold over 85 million records worldwide and won five Grammy Awards. They also hold the title of the band with the most-attended concerts of all time for their two shows at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in Great Britain, attended by more than 130,000 people.
Among their most popular songs are “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”, “Basket Case”, “American Idiot”, “Welcome to Paradise”, “When I Come Around”, “Wake Me Up When September Ends”, “Jesus of Suburbia”, “21 guns” etc.
Tickets for the Green Day concert in Athens will go on sale on Wednesday at noon.
