In October 2025, the Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA invites you on a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage led by Bishop Deborah Hutterer. From October 15–26, 2025, you will have the unique opportunity to travel through Greece and the Greek Islands, retracing the steps of the Apostle Paul. Starting in Thessaloniki, the group will visit sites such as Philippi, where Paul preached his first sermon in Europe, and Mars Hill in Athens, where he boldly defended the Christian faith.
