Become Greek for the weekend at the 51st Annual Greek Food Festival

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Celebrate culture at the 51st Annual Greek Food Festival October 3-5. Birmingham’s oldest and most anticipated cultural event allows you to become Greek for the weekend!

Delicious Greek cuisine is prepared by the parishioners and served to the community during the Greek Food Festival. All entrees and desserts are freshly made including souvlakia pasticcio, Greek chicken, Spanakopita, dolmathes, vegetable plates, Greek salad, gyros, and so much more! After filling your stomach, enjoy Greek beer or wine, Greek music and dancing brought to you by Greek dancers of all ages.

This year’s event will be held at The Holy Trinity – Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral from 10:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Firehouse Ministries, Urban Ministry and First Light.

This free event offers outside tent seating, a Greek Market Place providing Mediterranean and Orthodox Christian souvenirs, and a convenient drive-thru available all three days from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
