Im greek and the souvlaki wasnt souvlaki it was a tilikto which is different souvlaki ia the one on the stick
I'm greek . I'm from kalymnos the island of spongedivers. You should try kalymnian filla. It's stuffed leaves with rice and mince drizzled with avgolemono. It's a thick sauce we put on top of filla. It's beaten egg yolks and egg whites with lemon juice. I die for this food. Then we have mouri. It's grilled lamb with rice filling and mince and red sauce . We usually cook it at Easter in honor of Jesus christ . Then last food is chickpeas with red sauce and many many onions on the top and rosemary. So nice greek food🤌🤌🤌🏻🤌🏻🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷❤❤❤❤❤

Horiatiki salad with Dodoni feta cheese( my fav feta cheese brand), yemista with rice not minced meat, briam and for dessert kaimaki icecream with visino or homemade galaktoboureko with tangerine syroup( the usual is lemon syroup which is divine too)🌍💙

Tip; if you want to eat biygatsa and trigona panoramatos when visiting Greece, you should travel in Thessaloniki, because in other places is harder to find them 😅
were you in Thessaloniki? bc Trigona panoramatos and bougatsa are more famous there. in Athens it's not that famous
