CARNEY, MD—St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will host its 52nd Annual Greek Festival from Sept. 19 to Sept. 21, inviting the community to a celebration of Greek culture, music and cuisine.
The festival will take place at the church, located at 2504 Cub Hill Road, Carney, MD 21234. Admission and on-site parking are free.
The event kicks off Friday, Sept. 19, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 20, the festival will run from noon to 11 p.m., and on Sunday, Sept. 21, it will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
Organizers state the festival offers something for all ages, with opportunities to experience the “wonderful flavors of Greece.” Attendees can enjoy live folk dancing entertainment, traditional Greek music, and browse various shops.
Featured attractions include authentic Greek food and handmade pastries, a selection of beer, wine and soda, church tours, and more.
