Fiesta Voio (July 10–13, 2025)
Set on the banks of the Aliakmonas River near Kozani, the Fiesta Voio returns for its third year as a lively camping and music festival. The program spans Greek rock, hip hop, Balkan brass bands, and DJ sets, featuring prominent Greek artists like Vasilis Papakonstantinou, Eleonora Zouganeli, Marina Satti, and Social Waste.
Plastiras Lake Festival (July 11–13, 2025)
Nestled by the beautiful Plastiras Lake in Thessaly, this festival combines music with outdoor activities. Alongside live performances from artists such as Natasha Bofiliou and Vasilis Papakonstantinou, visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, yoga, and workshops, making it a perfect blend of nature and culture.
Pozar Festival (July 17–20, 2025)
Taking place near the thermal baths of Pozar at the foothills of Mount Kaimaktsalan, this festival extends to four days in 2025. It features acclaimed Greek musicians including Dimitris Delivorias and Vasilis Papakonstantinou, set in a lush green gorge by the Almopaios River.
Voés Festival (July 18–20, 2025)
Held by Doxa Lake in Corinthia, this festival aims to merge traditional and modern music styles in a setting renowned for eco-tourism. With two stages and a lineup of live acts and DJs, Voés Festival offers a unique musical and gastronomic experience at 900 meters altitude.
Vovousa Festival (July 19 – August 9, 2025)
Dedicated to the preservation of the Aoos River in the Zagori region, this event includes free concerts, outdoor cinema under the stars, dance performances, and activities such as football matches and truffle hunting. The festival collaborates with social organizations and offers diverse cultural programming over three weeks.
45th River Party (August 1–3, 2025)
One of Greece’s pioneering music camping festivals, River Party takes place by the Aliakmonas River near Kastoria and Nestorio. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and permanent facilities, it hosts both international and local artists like Locomondo and Giannis Haroulis. New features include a camper van parking area for attendees.
Amvrakia Music Festival 2.0 (August 15–17, 2025)
Returning to the lakeside setting of Amvrakia, this festival transforms the former Psarogiannis military camp into a natural music venue. Easily accessible via the Ionia Highway, it will showcase well-known Greek performers such as Vasilis Papakonstantinou and Bloody Hawk.
Mountain Music Festivals
Earth Festivals (July 9–13, 2025)
In the mountainous village of Vlasti in Western Macedonia, this handcrafted festival offers a cool summer refuge at 1,240 meters altitude. Celebrating ecological awareness, it features continuous cultural events and performances of “Rembetika” songs, traditional Greek blues, alongside artists like Dimitris Mystakidis.
12th Arvanitsa Forest Festival (July 11–13, 2025)
Hosted in a pine forest near Livadia in Central Greece, this three-day event is organized by the local mountaineering association. With a lineup that includes Haroulis and Dimitris Delivorias, it is the largest multi-day Greek music festival close to Athens, held at the Elikonas plateau.
Glypia Festival (July 25–30, 2025)
For the first time, the Glypia Festival takes place in three picturesque villages in the Parnonas mountains of Southern Kynouria. The five-day event includes traditional dances, shadow theater, and a film tribute, with performances by artists like Thanasis Papakonstantinou. Camping is available for extended stays.
Rokkas Festival (July 30 – August 9, 2025)
In Kissamos, Chania, the Rokkas Festival invites visitors to explore the unseen transformations of the world through music and culture. Highlights include a concert by Pano Mouzourakis and a symphonic performance blending Scandinavian and Greek traditions. The festival honors legendary Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis with a special piano concerto performance.
Anilio Park Festival (August 8–10, 2025)
Set in the mountain ski resort of Anilio in Metsovo, this festival features concerts by Socratis Malamas, Marina Satti, Alkinoos Ioannidis, and others. Alongside live shows, the event offers a continuous musical atmosphere with DJ sets and diverse genres from dawn to dusk.
Ziria Music Festival (August 28–30, 2025)
At the Ziria Ski Center in the Peloponnese, this festival hosts over 30 bands and producers across two stages. It highlights new talent while welcoming back artists who missed out due to last year’s weather conditions, ensuring a vibrant all-day music celebration.
