In honor of the centennial of his birth, a special numismatic tribute has been unveiled as part of the 2025 Numismatic Programme.
Designed by artist G. Stamatopoulos, the commemorative coin captures the essence of Theodorakis’ enduring impact. The coin, with a denomination of €2, measures 25.75 mm in diameter and weighs 8.50 grams. It features a finely milled edge with lettering, crafted from a copper-nickel ring and a nickel-brass core. Presented in a coin card blister, this brilliant uncirculated piece is limited to a maximum issue of 5,000 units, making it a collector’s treasure.
