INGREDIENTS:
For the cake
– 400 g phyllo sheets
– zest from 2-3 oranges
– 150 g sugar
– 150 g oil
– 4 medium eggs

– 1 pinch of salt
For the syrup
– 300 g orange juice
– 100 g of water
– 400 g sugar
– peel from 2 oranges

Yo he puesto 125 para el bizcocho porque el yogur que tenía era griego azucarado, y 120 para el almíbar y ha salido riquísima y muy dulce. Así que ni es necesario que pongáis toda esa cantidad de azúcar, si no lo queréis.

Penso che il lievito non serva in questo impasto non essendoci farina.
Comunque è una ricetta bellissima e deve essere pure molto buona.

It is quite a heavenly dessert, in Greek bakeries you can find this and its just incredible. One of the best desserts i have ever tried and i have tried many deserts from around the world.
It goes really well with Mastika flavour ice cream (Mastika is a resin with a pine or cedar like flavour).

După ce am primit răspunsul dvs. am observat discrepanțe privind unitațile de măsură pentru lichide, acestea sunt date exclusiv în grame în reteta scrisă, iar in clip măsurați 300ml de suc și 100ml apă, ambele în rețeta scrisă fiind date în grame la fel ca celelalte ingrediente.
Care sunt defapt cantitățile reale ale lichidelor, fiindcă eu le-am măsurat în ml cum este corect ???

Deși pe internet abundă o mulțime de rețete cu renumita prăjitură grecească, eu am ales această variantă pe principiul "simply the best".
Totuși deși în toate celelalte rețete în compoziția prăjiturii se adaugă și suc de portocale în aceasta lipsește, iar cantitatea de zahar din sirop este exagerat de mare în raport cu lichidele.
Până la urma aș vrea să știu care este varianta originala a acestei prăjituri, cunoscut fiind faptul că grecii adoră aromele citricelor, dar sunt mai ponderați cu adaosul de zahăr în preparatele lor ?
I made it, today. I put 50 g sugar less in the batter. It turned out nice but still too sweet for my taste. I will not make it again, but it definitely is worth trying at least once. It has nice aftertaste. Eating with some hot drink is recommended.
