Mykonos

Known as the party island of the Cyclades, Mykonos brings the glamour with a price tag to match. It’s a magnet for high-end tourism, and the costs reflect the island’s party-first reputation. It’s not only for party animals, though, being as it is a main gateway to one of the most important archeological sites in Greece, Delos.

Kos

Called “an island of endless treasures” by Lonely Planet, Kos offers the classic Greek combination of historical ruins and long, sandy beaches, with relatively reasonable prices, making it a good choice for those after a mix of culture and calm without the crowds of some of the more hectic islands (particularly over the summer season).

Rhodes

Rhodes delivers a stunning medieval Old Town plus ancient temples and long stretches of beach. Tourism is well established here, and prices seem steady and fair from budget to luxury.

Corfu

Corfu mixes Venetian-influenced architecture, lush green landscapes and stunning beaches. It’s also one of the best-value destinations on this list. Those after charm without overspending will find Corfu an attractive and budget-friendly option.
