A HISTORIC building in the city centre will be transformed into a club for one night only this month.
Salisbury Guildhall host an electrifying 90s house night on Friday, September 20, where guests will be transported back to “the golden era of dance music”.
The former court and jailhouse, which opened in 1795, will open from 6.30pm until 11pm for an evening filled with iconic beats and nostalgic tunes.
Guests should expect to hear everything from Dee Lite to Livin Joy to Nightcrawlers.
Rock the Boat will start the evening off and DJ Bong will end the night.
Independent craft beer bar Sips will provide refreshments and Terraform is supplying cube lights.
A spokesperson for Salisbury City Council, which is organising the event, said: “The beautiful historic building transforms into a grown-up dance venue, no sticky floors in sight!
“With music curated for over 30s, you can have a boogie like you used to and still be home in time not to ruin your Saturday.”
The event is open to everyone aged 18 years and above.
Tickets are £13 in advance and £18 on the door (subject to availability). They can be purchased by visiting salisburyguildhall.co.uk/the-guildhall-sessions-90s-house-night.
