Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas reportedly will not offer outgoing US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle a traditional diplomatic farewell following her sudden resignation.
According to The Independent, Guilfoyle will not receive the customary farewell meetings with Greece’s president, prime minister and foreign minister.
Her departure follows mounting allegations concerning her conduct as ambassador, including claims involving personal finances and dealings with wealthy donors.
Guilfoyle has denied wrongdoing and vowed to defend her reputation.
The former Fox News host was appointed ambassador in 2025 and presented her credentials to President Tasoulas in Athens in November that year.
