Producer prices in Greece rose by 0.1% year-on-year in July 2024, following a 0.7% fall in the previous month.
This marked the first increase in producer prices after sixteen consecutive months of decline.
Prices rose further for capital goods (0.9% vs 0.7% in June).
At the same time, costs decreased less for intermediate goods (-0.1% vs -0.4%) and energy (-1.2% vs -3%).
On the other hand, prices increased at a slower pace for both durable (0.4% vs 1.3%) and non-durable goods (3.1% vs 4.1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices grew by 2.2% in July, following a 1.5% rise in June.
