ATHENS — Greece confirmed 2,835 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, of which 15 were identified at the country’s entry points, said the National Public Health Organization (EODY).
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Greece reached 72,510 of which 4,622 relate to travel from abroad and 18,812 to already confirmed infection cases.
A total of 366 individuals are intubated. Their median age is 64 years, 80.9 pct have an underlying condition or are aged 70 or more and 112 of them are women. 370 have been discharged from ICUs since the start of the pandemic.
Finally, Greece also registered 38 new deaths, bringing coronavirus fatalities to 1,035 in total. The median age of all fatalities was 80 years, 96.8 pct had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or above while 416 of them were women.
