This song is a Turkish folk song. Its original name is Çiftetelli. The origin of the word çifte-telli is Turkish. And the English meaning is double-wire. In addition, the instrument played at the beginning of the song is a Turkish instrument. Most Greek folk songs were originally in Turkish and were later translated into Greek. Thief Greeks know no bounds in stealing our songs.
Çifteteli is Turk music
This song seems to be different from other songs of same name from the same author! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MRTgNlWHZQ&list=OLAK5uy_nV_f6qqzhTXr0hRQgm8oV7nvrOKf7rLJs&index=9 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0XFEP3a7JU , is it really the same song? or I started to lose my hearing abilitiy :))
ZOUME
I knew Chiftetelli is turkish 😒
Çiftetelli Turkiko <3
From Asia Minor, not Greece. It is a common culture but from the Asia Minor…
Kalimera sas komşu 🙂
This is Ancient Greek Music !
This is nice but… It's not traditional. Folk music from the Peloponnese, Crete, Thessaly and Central Greece have real old folk music that stems back to the times of the Byzantine Empire. Some particular folk songs date back to antiquity. It would be preferable if you performed these folk songs.
Ez pedig egy pompás városi népzene, népi tánczene.

Nice music greetings from turkey
After Erdogan……the 22nd century Byzantine Empire shall rule again.
The greek culture is so rich, but the modern greece is so different to the ancient greece who give us the medicine, math, the greatest philosophers, and they fought agaist the persians, that's were the true greeks.
Congratulations, you perform this kind of music in an amazing way. But this is a kind of Greek folk music from urban areas (Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras etc) that created at 1930's – 1940's. The real folk-traditional music of Greece is much much older.
You can take a look at the traditional music of all regions of Greece (Peloponnese, Crete, Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia, Cyclades, Ionian islands, Thrace, Asia Minor – Pontos etc). You' ll understand what Greek medieval songs and music means.
