Opa! It’s going to be a big Greek gathering this Saturday, November 20 with Elenitsa’s Greek Grill Food Truck.
RAPID CITY, S.D. — The authentic Greek food truck, Elenita’s Greek Grill, will be hosting a fundraiser Saturday, November 20 for the St. John’s Orthodox Church.
They will be serving up all of their traditional Greek food menu items plus some extra dessert specials.
This annual fundraising event typically involves the sale of various baked goods, but this year the fundraiser will only be featuring the food truck.
You can visit the truck from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. this Saturday in the parking lot of the St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church at 601 Flormann Street in Rapid City.
It’s your chance to get your fill of traditional Greek grub.
Nitsa Waterson, Co-Owner Elenitsa’s Greek Grill- Food Truck, says, “We have Greek gyros, we have, and no one needs us, fries that we came up with. That’s really popular. We have, of course, the baklava, which is a known dessert that everybody loves. And we also have Greek salad. We have tried appetizers of tiropita, spanakopita. I mean, pastichio, moussaka, little bit of everything. We’ve got quite a variety.”
The money raised will go to the church as well as the Cornerstone Rescue Mission.
